Official Arena Rules: How Battles and Tournaments Work
Welcome to the arena! To help your animals climb to the top of the rankings, it’s essential to understand how battles are organized, how winners are decided, and how you can contribute to the community effort as a judge.
Here’s everything you need to know to dominate the game.
1. Registration and Team Management
- Team format: Every team you send into battle must consist of exactly 3 animals The same animal cannot be entered in two teams at the same time.
- The Fatigue system: Fighting takes energy. After a battle, your animals need rest. Recovery time depends on their rarity: common animals recover quickly (1 day), while the rarest and most powerful animals need more time to rest (up to 5 days). Their health is represented by gems.
- The Condor Advantage: Players with a Condor subscription enjoy instant recovery. Their animals never suffer fatigue and can be re-entered immediately.
2. The Voting and Battle System
Battles are not generated by artificial intelligence: players decide the outcome of each match!
- Battle duration: Each battle lasts exactly 24 hours.
- How to vote: In the “Battles” tab, two photos appear on screen (one above the other), showing the animals of two competing teams.
- Swipe UP or LEFT to vote for the top animal.
- Swipe DOWN or RIGHT to vote for the bottom animal.
- How a match works: You make 3 swipes (one for each animal of the two teams). The team that wins the majority of your votes earns 1 Match Point..
3. Judging Rules (How to Choose?)
Voting is subjective, and every player has their own criteria (photo quality, animal rarity, composition, etc.). However, the community follows one strong guideline:
Always favor the wild. An animal photographed in its natural habitat should always be preferred over a domestic animal, or one in captivity or in a zoo.
4. Tournaments
Your journey is divided into three major competitions. In every case, the game’s orchestrator distributes players fairly each night at midnight (UTC) to launch the day’s battles.
- Daily Battles: A quick, direct 1v1 clash. The best way to test your animals before making your selection for the tournaments.
- Weekly Tournaments: These are single-elimination tournaments (with brackets of up to 32 players). Each week brings different criteria for building your team. Each round lasts 24 hours. If you win, you advance to the next round.
- Monthly Tournaments: The ultimate tournaments! All players in a single single-elimination tournament. Only 1 team per player. Only the best of the best will be the last one standing and claim eternal glory!
For both types of tournaments, once your team has started its first battle, you can no longer change it until the end of the competition. You don’t need to recharge your fighters’ energy for each round, but it drops back to zero after every battle.
5. Victory, Ties, and Rewards
At the end of the 24 hours, the votes of the entire community are counted. The team with the most Match Points wins.
In the event of a strict tie,the game uses the following criteria to decide the winner (in this order):
- The total number of individual swipes received by the team’s 3 animals.
- The team’s total rarity score.
- If the tie persists, a random draw (50/50) determines the winner.
Rewards: Whether you win or lose, your participation is rewarded! Going far in tournaments (Weekly and Monthly) multiplies your earnings. Depending on the importance of the tournament and the stage you reach, you can win:
- From’XP and Score to climb the rankings.
- Des Seeds and Diamonds to help you in the game.
- Des Health Herbs and Gallery expansions Gallery to speed up recovery and make room for new animals.
Get your best photos ready, build your teams strategically while managing their fatigue, and don’t forget to vote to support the community!
